Princess 33 MkII

Introduced in 1981 and produced until 1987, the Princess 33 MkII flybridge cruiser was one of the most popular boats of the Eighties. Ideal for river, estuary and coastal cruising, the Princess 33 offers all the advantages of a flybridge boat whilst retaining a compact length and, therefore, reduced marina fees.

The standard layout features a V Berth forward that has an infill cushion that allows the berth to be configured as either two singles or a large double. Aft of the forward cabin, on the port side is the heads and shower. Aft of this is the well fitted and well equipped galley. On the starboard side is the dinning area that will easily seat six. The table drops to convert this into a second double berth.

Three steps brings you up to the main saloon level. On the starboard side is the lower helm, featuring full instrumentation for the two Volvo Penta engines. Aft of the helm is a two seater leather sofa bed that opens to accommodate a further to berths, making six in total. The helm seat has been removed from the lower helm but this has been retained and can easily be re-fitted.

A sliding glass door brings you out to the large cockpit area. This has a second leather sofa giving a comfortable seating area. To the starboard side is the stepls that access the flybridge. The views form the upper helm station are superb. All owners tend to use this as the main helm and full canopies mean that the flybridge is usabe regardless of the weather.

This Princess 33 MkII has been well looked after. She has a new BSS Certificate that expires in 2013 and her Broads license is paid until April 2010.

Last year she was lifted from the water and had her bottom taken down to the fiberglass. She was epoxy treated and then had three coats of copper-coat bottom applied, so no more antifouling for a number of years. Her engines were serviced and they have also had cambelts changed in recent years. Last year both outdrives were also removed and completely reconditioned.

The following extras make this Princess 33 flybridge a pleasure to both own and use:

Bow Thruster
Auto Helm
GPS
Depth
Speed Log
DVD/TV/Sound System
Stainless Steel Davits
