Price:£11,995 Judith Class Traditional Broads Cruiser
Judith M is number 4 of the Judith Class Broads Motor Boat and was built by Martham Boats, on the Norfolk Broads, in the early 1950's. She spent until the 1980's on the hire fleet and then was sold into private hands.
Martham Boats still hire out her sisters today see www.marthamboats.com.
She has been with the current custodian for the last 5 years and has been used extensivelly on the Ouze. She has now come home to Martham and is seriously for sale.
The layout is a double and single in the aft cabin, with two singles in the forward cabin. The galley is located forward in the Vee and is compliamented by a wood burner. Aft of the galley is the forward cabin, with a single berth on Port and starboard. Aft of this cabin is the centre cockpit with comanding views. Continuing aft is the heads to starboard and a large storage area to port. Aft again brings you in to the aft cabin with a double berth to port and single berth to starboard. She is fitted with a diesel fired hot blown air heater.
Boat Safety Certificate recently completed.
Judith M is currently slightly short of her former glory and is priced accordingly. A good condition Judtith would normally set one back in the region of £20-23,000. Judith M is a fabulous Traditional Broads Cruiser that requires a small amount of planking, some varnishing and painting and few other cosmetic areas of attention.
Here at Martham, Martham Boat Company are my landlords, so she is sitting in the boatyard where she was built. I do not think there is any company anywhere that are more qualified to advice a potential new custodian on getting Judtith M back to her former glory. More Information
